Exploring his voice

Everyday Reed learns a little bit more about himself and the world around him. Lately he's been intently tracking people and objects moving around the room. You can just see him taking everything in. His newest marvel is his own voice. It's been fun to hear the progression of sounds that he makes. At first, it was just coos and gurgles. Then he moved on to monkey noises...the ooh, ooh, oohs. His latest and most impressive (at least to himself) noise is, as Bob calls it, "the pterodactyl". At first I thought the shrieking noise meant he was unhappy, but as time passed I began to realize that he just likes to hear himself talk.
