Michigan

We just got back from our brief but fun summer trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We had a cabin in Copper Harbor and enjoyed a wonderful break from the sweltery heat of the Chicagoland area, basking in the sunny days in the 70s with low humidity and a cool breeze off Lake Superior.

Reed's favorite beach time activity was scooping up rocks. He didn't seem to mind that there wasn't sand.

We took family photos one day and here we are hanging out afterward.

Going out for ice cream was also a highlight for Reed. Not only did he get his own blue ice cream in a cone, they also had a really cool truck to drive.
