Reed and I made a special stop at the daycare today. Today was a day home with Mom but Sue mentioned to me earlier in the week that there would be baby chicks there today and we stopped in for a bit this morning to check them out.
Reed was very excited this morning before we headed over. He made sure that he dressed appropriately, wearing his "farmer jeans." Any normal day, you couldn't get him in a pair of overalls but today was a special occasion.
Here is Sue helping Reed pet one of the chicks. He loved them but when they ran or flapped toward him he kept saying that he was scared. It didn't stop him from going back over and over to check them out.
There were two ducks swimming outside in the daycare's in-ground swimming pool. The boys were checking them out from the kitchen.
Sue taught Reed how farmers stand with their thumbs hooked through their belt loops.
