First time sledding

It is a little ironic that Reed's first trip down the snow hill was in Greenville, considering they only got about 2 inches of snow compared to the snowfall measuring in feet in the Chicagoland area. Nonetheless, there was just enough snow on Granny and P-pa's sledding hill to make a go of it, so that's what all the grandkids did last Sunday afternoon.

Bob and P-pa took out the kids while the women-folk were inside preparing food and relaxing in the warmth.


The photos really don't do justice for how much fun Reed actually had. The photos were taken right before the kiddos came in. I think the way winter seems to be shaping up, we'll have plenty more opportunities to get Reed back out sledding. He just might not have his cousins around to topple down the hill with.
