Me and Robert

All of you who know Bob know he's a tall guy. Grandma Reed also knew this, but well into her 90s, she slipped up and said he was 9 feet tall. Well, maybe sometimes he seems that tall. On our last trip back home we took a trip to Alton and made a stop to see the real 9 ft. tall Bob, Robert Wadlow.

Pretty amazing. We also went to some antique shops, checked out some historic neighborhoods, drove though the architectural gem of a campus at Principia College, saw the Piasa Bird, enjoyed the River Road, and had dinner and drinks downtown Alton. What a fun date night!
