Reed woke up early this morning (as usual, sigh), and with the uncommonly cool summer weather, I decided to enjoy the cool foggy morning. We went for a little jog followed by a little playing outside around the house. Reed is a bit of a scavenger. His first big find of the morning was a pretty good stick...definitely a keeper. Here's where the dilemma arises. Suddenly he discovers, side by side, a big clump of moss and a small shiny rock. He looks at the moss, he looks at the rock, he looks at the stick. He realizes he only has two hands. So what does he do?
He picks up the shiny little rock, never easing his grip on the big stick, and pops it into his mouth. He then picks up the moss. Genius! He has everything he wants...UNTIL his mean Mommy swipes the rock from his mouth. Nice try Reed. An A for effort.
