The "hungry birdie" phenomenon developed one afternoon at our house when Bob was pretending to be a bird, feeding Reed, "his young," a tasty worm. By the end, the whole family was rolling with laughter. Though Reed still breaks out the "hungry birdie" routine from time to time, Cora is the one who seems to enjoy it the most.
