Bright and early Saturday morning we packed up the car and set off on an almost 3 hour trek down to Champaign-Urbana to attend Uncle Nathan's college graduation ceremony. The skies looked menacing pretty much the whole way, but shortly after we arrived the sun came out and we had a beautiful day. The commencement speaker was great (translation: I didn't zone out when he started talking about integrated biology) and we had a nice reception afterwards.

So proud of our little brother.

We took advantage of the beautiful day to walk around campus and take in the sites of our Alma Mater. Here's the family at the "Eternal Flame." Legend has it that if you kiss your lover here that your relationship will last forever. So far so good.

Reed rubbed Lincoln's nose for good luck. He rubbed it for luck that he could get into U of I one day. I rubbed it for luck that we can pay the tuition price in 17 years.
